DYED COLORED CROSS STITCH CLOTHS
Hi there everyone, can anyone tell me how to dye my stitching cloths the same way I see from some fellow stitchers with different huesin one cloth.Are they bought as is or simply dyed at home?They seemed lovely to use on some projects and I can't find it where I am located, any do's and don't on how to use this as tips would be very welcome. There's also a website called Silkweaver that has dyed fabrics. They used to have great deals on leftover pieces for great prices, but I think that part is Under Construction now. I've also bought some at pretty good prices on Ebay. I wish someone could help with this.I also live in a country where I can't get dyed fabric and would love to do it myself. Con té o anilina Thanks for the links - I would love to try this, even though I mostly stitch patterns that are full coverage. I guess I'll have to find one that isn't so that I can try dying my fabric! Mostly they are bought (silk Weaver etc) but can easily do browns with coffe or tea (fix with salt) or use PIGMENT acyrilic paint diluted in hot/warm water.
