Un trabajo precioso !!!! :loveliness: Muy linda colcha Very nice quilt! Many thanks for sharing your work! Very nice! Beautiful work. Congratulations It's beautiful! I'm learning to quilt mine by machine, my hand sewing is not very neat. Yours looks great! First, thanks for your rating and comment :)
I hand quilt because i am not too great at it with the machine LOL. My sewing room is also small, and when quilting a full quilt, you need more room so the quilt do not get stuck against the wall while you are trying to move it around!
Hand quilting can be really relaxing. I like doing it in front of a good tv show! You might want to practice just on one piece of fabric, to get your stitch more regular, then once you get the hand of it, grab 2 scrap of fabric and a left over piece of batting, put it together in a small frame and just practice. There are quite a few good videos on you tube. Mind you, most will teach you the rocking hand technique, I myself never got the hang of that. I hand quilt like if I was doing embroidery or sewing (no rocking movement) and I still accomplish a fairly regular stitch. I came to one conclusion about quilting in general: there is no rules, besides the one we impose on ourselves!!! Very nice. graciasssss:):)
