How to make crochet baby ears?

Hello all,

I am in the middle of making my daughter an amigurumi baby doll for my daughter for Easter and I would like to add ears on to it, but cannot work out how. I have looked around on here for tutorials or patterns but cannot find any, so I thought I would ask if anyone can help me please?

Is there a simple way to make cute little ears? Or a tutorial somewhere where I can look that I may have missed in my searches? I would dearly love some help with a pattern or something please.

Many thanks!
xx

Hello! I'm sorry for my previous post. I didn't well understand your problem. Fortunately, I can still edit my post. As one of the ways, you can take a pattern available on this site and make ears from the pattern. For example, there are ears on some dolls by Anna Sadovskaya. I have seen ears elsewhere. If I remember, I will tell you. I did them myself in this way: I embroidered a curved line using chain stitches at the place where I wanted my ear, then crocheted along it beginning and ending with slip stitches and all the other stitches are single crochet stitches. I hope the idea is clear. If your doll is bigger, you can crochet them separately (in the same way as ears for small bears) and attach them later: 4 or 6 stitches into a magic ring, one chain stitch, turn your work and make increases using single crochet stitches into the first and last stitches, the other stitches are simple single crochets. There can be small variations. Good luck with you work!

I've looked through a few patterns. Their authors use the second method (separately made ears) but in the second row they make increases into every stitch of the first row.
And dolls by Aelita Surmachevskaya also have ears. You can look through her patterns.

Here are instructions on how to make ears for dolls...you can adjust as needed for your doll.
Make 2 the same:
1 - 6sc in magic ring, mark begining of round       = 6 stitches
2 - increase 1 in every stitch                               = 12 stitches
3 - increase 1 in every 2nd stitch                        = 18 stitches
4 - increase 1 in every 3rd stitch                         = 24 stitches
5 - increase 1 in every 8th stitch                         = 27 stitches
6 - sc in each stitch around                                 = 27 stitches
7 - decrease 1 every 8th stitch                            = 24 stitches

End with slip stitch, leve a long thread to sewin to head.

Hope this helps.
