40 count linen

Do any of you experienced stitchers ever like the full look of two strands of silk on 40 count linen?

This is awesome

I've tried it before, but thought it looked a little too bulky.

It depends on the project. I only made 2 on 40ct because I can't see it very easily (lol), but on one I wanted the colour fill to be very tight. Otherwise, I would only use one, because it does stick up a bit and I think it can distort the fabric a little.

Gosh that must be difficult to stitch.

I find it too bulky. I prefer using just the one thread.

I usually use just one too, unless it was a very simple, uncomplicated pattern, then maybe 2.But if it has a lot of colors and details--only 1
