I've only ever used Thread Heaven too, it's an amazing product and if you are happy with it and can get it, why change :)

Also make sure to use a shorter length of thread than usual, it will help with tangles and knots

Although I use metallic thread in my HAED patterns, I don't use Thread heaven until now. But when I read some of your postings here, it seems to me to be a very useful tool.

The old standby is Beeswax.That is what stitch ...

I have used both and prefer Thread Heaven.I also quilt, and use silk thread for Baltimore Album and TH is a must for the fine thread.
