Silk Threads

I am just starting to use silk floss, just a little in each project because of cost!I usually use DMC and wind onto bobbins.

How should I store the silk?I don't want to damage it, I can't afford to replace it.

Baggies, bobbins, or ?????

Please help!I need advice.Thanking you in advance. :)

Because I don't have a great deal of silk floss I store mine in a special box. The leftover thread I store in small bags, with the thread tag, so I don't get muddled up.. Be interesting to see how other stitchers store their silk floss....

I keep mine in a Jammers case.I think I've posted a picture before but I'm not positive.

I keep mine on thread rings or cards, laying them flat in cigar boxes,

I've never used silk.

If it came as a skein, like six strand cotton, I'd use a stitch bow or a baggie.I'd be reluctant to wind it on a bobbin because it's difficult to get the kinks out later.
