Favourite heel for socks?

What is your favourite heel for socks?
Some people prefer heels with heel flaps, some prefer short-row heels.

I first learned to knit a heel-flap heel. This is still my heel to go if I don't want to think a lot. I don't have to look up a pattern to knit a heel fitting up to now all people who received socks from me.
Then I learned to knit a short row heel. First I did not like it, because I have a high instep and the heel did not fit. And I don't like how the german double stitch looks in my knitting. But I learned different ways to work a little gussset also to short row heels and tried the technique of turning the short rows as described in the Fish Lip Socks. Know I can also knit fitting socks with short rows and a nice tidy looking fabric.
I also tried several other heel options, even starting the sock from the heel knitting up to the cuff and then down to the tips...

What is your favourite heel and why?
How do you decide what heel you knit for a new sock?
Do you use enforcement for the heels?

I usually do short rows, both toes and heels, toe up

EDIT: German Short Rows. So easy it feels like cheating LOL

I'm a big fan of the Afterthought Heel.I did the usual heel flap for ages and once I discovered Afterthought, I haven't looked back.It fits my foot better, and looks so nice!

I started with heel flap and gusset, then for a while used German short rows. Now I'm using Fish Lips Kiss heel and it's really good for me, no holes at the edges and perfect fit.
