One thing that always cheers me up is seeing  large bunches of colorful embroidery floss.

Are they specialist threads?  The purples look like DMC,, but I can't make out the other  skeins.  Lovely, anyway.

The purples are DMC, the other two packs are Galaxy. I've never known this brand before, but the price was quite cheap, so I tried to bid. I won the bid at ebay for US$ 34 (60 skeins DMC and 90 skeins Galaxy).
