I did a batch of these the other day, I caught them slightly on the bottoms, I was distracted by forums, and pretty patterns! So sprinkles made them better!
They're very simple to make.
Just melt 125g butter or marg into a saucepan. Once the butter has melted throw in 100g of dark high cocoa chocolate. Gently melt the chocolate. (I don't mind about the state of my pans, so I don't use a double boiler). Take the saucepan off the heat, throw in 150g of caster sugar, and 300g of morello cherry jam. Mix thoroughly, being sure not to leave any large lumps of jam. Chuck in two beaten eggs, and then 150g self raising flour. Empty the mixture into either lined bun cases or a pretty plastic mould mini bundt tin. Bake in the oven 180 degrees C or gas mark 4 for about 25 minutes.
