Has anyone made "The Beauty" by Olga Neretina?

Hi,
I bought the English version of the "The Beauty" pattern ( my phone won't copy link) and it states that a 5 mm hook is used for this doll. That seems way to big! Unless a very thick yarn is being used. The pattern does not state what weight is required....it states grams and yardage. Anyway, a 5 mm is big no matter the weight. Has anyone made this doll? Will you please tell me what size hook you used?
Thank you in advance!

I used a 2.5 mm hook... Also I used Red Heart Yarn to make my doll.  I just omitted some of the repeat rounds for the legs and body and head

I just saw the replies. Thank you for the info. I haven't started the doll yet. The head is too big? Looking at the pictures I was thinking of lengthening the arms. How big did your turn out to be...with the different yarns and hooks?

I didn't make this doll but if you use a thin yarn and a small hook and the doll will be smaller than the original.
