Thanks for the tips!I will give the spiralling out a try soon.I'm currently working on Santa's village and it's the first time working with variegated threads.I love the effect of stripes on the buildings, but possibly the spiralling effect would work better on the other things.

I haven't used any yet, but I love the idea of varigated thread because you can use it to get so many different effects!

I always stitch a whole cross with any thread, that way you don't have to undo a whole row if one cross is wrong.
